Jason Marcotte

As founder of Summit Capital Venture Group, Jason Marcotte leads the firm’s strategy and operations, offering his expertise in finance, capital markets, real estate investing and community development. Over the course of his career, he has completed $400 million worth of transactions in senior living, multifamily & retail real estate.

Adam Hayner

Adam Hayner has completed more than $2.5 billion of commercial real estate investment in the US and UK.

In January 2011, Adam joined a startup venture in London called Longbow Real Estate Capital that was focused on building an institutionally backed real estate fund. Mr. Hayner worked investing across nearly every asset class and helped to establish new strategies and partnerships. In 2015, he became a managing director and fund manager responsible for the firms $800m development mandate and opportunistic equity strategies.

In 2016, Intermediate Capital Group (“ICG”) completed the full acquisition of their initial investment in Longbow, which became ICG-Longbow. As of 2019, ICG is a FTSE 100 publicly traded alternative asset manager with more than $42bn of AUM and ICG-Longbow manages $5.0bn of real estate AUM.

Prior to Longbow, Mr. Hayner assisted in the takeover of one of the largest privately owned landholding companies in California. This became a vertically integrated homebuilder established to develop 1,200 acres of land in Calabasas. That project became the award-winning Oaks of Calabasas, which achieved a gross development value in excess of $1.0bn.

Mr. Hayner holds real estate accreditations including licensed building contractor, licensed engineering contractor, licensed real estate broker, LEEDs accredited professional, member of the Association of Property Lenders (UK), member of the Urban Land Institute, and a member of the NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Development Association.

Adam attended Harvard College and holds a degree in Applied Mathematics.

Charles France

Charles is a West Virginia native and founded Vulcan Ventures in 2020 in pursuit of acquiringsingle family residences within the Morgantown market. Over the course of his career, Charleshas acquired and manages $3.1MM of single-family residences.

Charles graduated from Indiana University, Kelley School of Business with both a Master’s ofBusiness Administration and Master’s of Science in Information Systems. His undergraduatedegree was a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry with minors in Mathematics and Finance.Prior to his career in real estate, he has worked as a Senior Consultant at a Fortune 200 firmand a Chief of Staff at a boutique investment banking firm.

Charles is responsible for market research, deal sourcing, due diligence, financing, assetmanagement, and property management.

Cody Phifer

Cody Phifer was born and raised in Littleton, Colorado. He graduated with a Civil Engineeringdegree from Cornell University in 2007 with a minor in geology. His previous careers includeworking as a trader for a hedge fund in NYC and as an acquisitions manager for a small oil &gas exploration and production company.

Cody became a licensed Residential Class C Contractor in July 2017 and has pursued realestate projects since then. He has purchased, planned, and developed residential projects inDenver and Littleton. Cody built and owns 3 cocktail lounges in Denver and is currentlypermitting a music venue in the RiNo neighborhood of Denver with his two hospitalitypartners.

In 2021, Cody founded two general partnerships to acquire and manage single family rentalsin Detroit, MI. They have acquired more than 120 properties in the Detroit metro area.

Cody spends a significant amount of his time pursuing his philanthropic interests and iscurrently the President of the Denver Children’s Foundation which grants out $1.5 millionannually to children’s charities across Denver and Colorado. He accredits this position for hisrecent nod as one of Denver Business Journal’s 40 Under 40. Cody enjoys spending time withwife and two daughters and can often be found on the golf course.

Colson Castilla

Colson is a founding partner of Ember Capital Partners. Colson began his career supporting a nationwide team of multifamily loan originators for PGIM Real Estate Finance as a financial analyst. Following his interests, he soon accepted a role in asset management and acquisitions for a Denver based private equity real estate company where he helped manage a $200M portfolio of industrial, retail, and commercial assets throughout the United States among other assets including self storage and senior living facilities.

Colson received his BA in Economics & Business from Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia where played lacrosse and served as the Chairman ofhis school’s student-led investment club. Colson currently resides in Denver, Colorado, and enjoys skiing, climbing, and mountaineering in his free time.

Jake Koferl

Jake is a founding partner of Ember Capital Partners. a serial entrepreneur and a real estate professional. Jake began his career co-founding a real estate management company, Air Hospitality, in 2017 with the goal to help investors buy, curate, and manage short-term rentals. Following the sale of Air Hospitality, he saw the need for short term rental within the multifamily asset class. To help bridge the market gap, Jake started CoZbnb, which creates curated, short stay spaces within apartment communities. CoZ currently operates within the Charlotte MSA.

Jake earned an BA in Mathematical Economics with a minor in Mathematics from Hampden-Sydney College in Farmville, VA and is a licensed North Carolina real estate broker.

Danyelle Marts

Danyelle came to Summit Supportive Communities with 20 years of experience in the healthcare/social service field and has a BA in Business Administration with a Specialization in Project Management.  She started her career working in a nursing home.  Danyelle began as a receptionist and worked her way up to Business Office Manager.  She has developed and directed 15 group homes for individuals with disabilities and managed 50+ staff throughout the state of New Jersey.  

Most recently Danyelle managed a team of Program Coordinators which were responsible for 250+ individuals accuracy of treatment plans, ensuring Medicaid authorizations were accurate/received timely, coordinate/facilitated interdisciplinary team meetings, and facilitated admissions from referral through admission.

Martissa Spencer

Martissa Spencer centers her professional accounting efforts on the thoughtful connection between employee relationships, resident & guardian expectations and accounting functions to support the best-in-class services offered by Summit Supportive Communities.  Her passion isn’t numbers, but people, and how to use quality accounting services as a powerful tool to provide value to people’s lives.  Her skills in accounting, grassroots organizing, team building, and writing find a great fit in the healthcare industry.   Martissa started her accounting career with Coopers and Lybrand after completing both her Bachelor of Science and a Master's Degree of Accountancy and Information Systems at Brigham Young University.  

She was the Arthur H. Carter scholarship recipient for her graduate program.  Her previous accounting experience includes clients in the hospitality, retail and high-tech industries.  Martissa lives with her husband, Michael, and their four children in Lakewood Colorado.  When she isn’t creating cool spreadsheets or organizing financial data, Martissa loves travel adventures with her family, hiking to waterfalls, baking bread, reading fanfiction,  or soaking in one of Colorado’s many natural hot springs.

Lindsay Strong

My name is Lindsay Strong, I was born and raised in Pennsylvania and moved to Colorado in 2010 where I’ve resided since. I have 5 year old twins, girl and boy who occupy all of my time outside of work. In 2015, I started my career running Assisted Livings for the elderly and those with dementia and Alzheimer’s. Since then, I’ve continued my career that led me to Summit.

I absolutely love what I do and I love helping those in need. My energy and passion in life is to make a difference in people lives and to create and manage a successful business. I am always ready and up for new challenges and will always give my absolute best.

My heart and commitment belongs with Summit Supportive Communities and am so blessed to work for such an amazing and caring owner who cares so much for everyone around him.
